
Dr. Murat Çırak, DVM
Murat Çırak, DVM, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ankara University in 1992. He spent many years in Istanbul serving as both Chief Veterinarian and Hospital Manager at a leading animal hospital. During his time there, he was part of a pioneering team that introduced one of Turkey's first gold implant (gold acupuncture) treatments for chronic pain management and hip dysplasia, working alongside veterinary specialists from Germany. He also contributed to organizing continuing education programs for veterinary professionals in collaboration with the Small Animal Veterinary Association. Dr. Çırak participated in the Formula 1 organization and was awarded a commemorative plaque in recognition of his contributions. Outside of veterinary medicine, he is a certified one-star scuba diving instructor and has taken part in practical dive training for students in Istanbul. Before attending university, he spent two years studying at a high school in Donzdorf-Göppingen, Germany, giving him valuable international experience from an early age. Throughout his career, Dr. Çırak has remained deeply committed to helping stray animals, offering both medical care and personal support whenever possible. His dedication to vulnerable animals attracted international attention and was featured in The New York Times.
