In order to be moved into an EU country, the following steps should be completed:
First, make sure your pet has a microchip and a certificate of vaccination.
If there is not a microchip, consult your physician to inject one on your pet and do not miss the barcode.
Operate all vaccination information regularly in the pet passport. The pet animal must be vaccinated against rabies by a veterinarian up to 4 months before the trip and against parasitic 15 days before the date of travel.
Your pet must undergo a rabies antibody titration test in an approved laboratory less than one month before our travel. Pay the rabbit titration test at the bank or over the internet. Then go to the vet with the bank document and get the blood donation. Your veterinarian is required to fill out the form and send a photocopy of a blood sample and a pet passport to the test facility/laboratory.
After 1 week, take the test result that will reach your veterinarian’s address (this document will be required for each time your pet travels abroad). Wait 3 months and then go to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture. Fill in the form in the office, pay the fee, get the report prepared.
Finally, take your pet abroad within 10 days from the date of the report.
